Bloom Where You're Planted

We can learn a lot about life from the desert plants. Particularly cacti.

I have learned this in my new season of living in the Sonoran Desert. I am so amazed at the plant and animal life. They are more than survivors. They thrive. When a cactus decides to bloom, it explodes with size and color. The flashier the better, it seems. Sort of an invitation to the world to admire their tenacity. Their endurance. Their beauty.
